Rent-To-Own HQ Nightmares & William Germany Law Firm

RENT TO OWN
WILLIAM GERMANY
PONZI SCHEME

William Germany and Rent to Own HQ  Were illegally spying on me via GPS

I had to remove it from the car.

YELP FEATURED MY REVIEW

As of February 26, 2025 Rent to Own will not settle this small claim.  Their lawyer has acted in bad faith and tried to libel me for the truth.

Rent to own scams:

So there’s a 3rd party card dealership called Rent-2-Own HQ. I paid my car in full and I got completely fucked over by then. I’ve had so many issues with them regarding inconsistency on maintenance, communication, clarity on situations. Very sketchy. Has anyone ever really OWNED a vehicle after leasing from that company? Or had any issues with them?

This company is a scam.I was paying over ******* a month just for a car that broke down . They didnt help with a car ti get to work but kept asking me to make a payment just ** the car needed a new engine. . They told me the car over heated but I was watching the gauge. It took there team over a week just to figure out what was wrong with it. They finally said it was driven while hot. Which I saw the the car wasnt hot at all. They scam people out of money and say well you signed the ****************** scam

This company is a scam.! Got a 2014 ***** impala from them because we needed a vehicle, when signing the contract we were shocked at every little fee they charge and how you are allotted only certain amount of miles for the month. We got insurance on the vehicle, did necessary repairs to it and put new tires and rims on the vehicle but had to get them in payments since we had to invest so much money mechanically. They sent 2 guys from the dealership to recover the vehicle from my house in the middle of the day then when I call they stated we didnt have insurance on our vehicle and were over our allotted mileage. But wanted us to pay the recovery fee to get the vehicle back.! Currently sent dealership info to Rent a Tire so they can recover the rims and tires off the car since they are not paid off.! Dealership doesnt work with you at all and only cares about making money and scamming hardworking people.! Please if you are thinking about doing business with them, DONT.!!!!

The manager pulled a gun on me for trying to return the car.

  • Working with The Germany Law Firm to prepare a Special Needs Trust was a bad experience. The worst part of it was trying to get a recommendation as to a Trustee to hire to eventually take care of my two disabled sons.
My wife and I were told that in order for Germany to properly prepare a Trust Germany would have to consult with an Ohio specialist attorney as my children live there.
Many months ago I asked for a recommendation as to several good Trustees to interview. I was given a generic list of nine Trust Officers/ Fiduciaries in Colorado with zero information as to which by Germany's experiences were good ones to use.
I was sent information on a Trustee to use in Ohio only to find out that this organization wasn't a Trustee but a non-profit that oversees Trustees.
Seeing I wasn't going to receive help from Germany Law I asked for the attorney they used in Ohio. I thought that at least an Ohio attorney would be able to recommend a Trustee to use in Ohio.
I'm guessing that Germany Law never really used a law Office in Ohio as promised as they over the passage of months never supplied me with that name.
Through my own work I found that a non-profit Trustee that Susie Germany was a member of the Board of Trustees. When I messaged Susie with the acronym CFPD she didn't recognize it. I found out that not only that I didn't need two Trustees one in Colorado & one in Ohio like Germany had said but CFPD could carry out the total task of taking care of my finances here but take care of my disabled sons in Ohio.
Although I wound up with all the documentation that I need, it took a lot of work by me to accomplish this. Germany should have done this and done so in a timely manner.

Small Claim filed

There is no counterclaim, but Royal tried to extort the car back after I laid out $6K to repair the damaged car they sold me, and there is still more work to be done.

December 13 update

Rent to Own Car Salesman Royal Schiro

Found Rent to OWN Scam on Change.org

Google Maps Says it's Permanently Closed

Rent to OWN has a court hearing date in Feb for mediation.

I am out $15K for this car due to repairs it needed right away.
Came w/ engine light on, emissions problems,
cracked wheel, worn out tire where the cracked wheel was,
other engine problem,
leak in oil pain
and so on

Rent to own Rep I talked to today was named Royal

He "offered me" 6K and repossession of the car as an "offer"

Ms. Natasha Athens,

After consulting with the investors, I was told to get a current day value of the vehicle.

MMR - Auction Value - $2,675 average
KBB - trade in value - $2,874
KBB Retail value - $4,402

I told the investors that I offered $6,000 to your previous $10,000. They were extremely upset that I offered such a high number in comparison to what we could buy it for or even sell it for.

They said that they would be willing to honor the $6,000 I provided and will purchase the vehicle back from you for more than double the trade in and auction value.

Thank you

Yes ma’am. I just listened to the voicemail with claims about biological sex and so on and so forth. What we are offering is to purchase the vehicle for cash from you in the amount of $6,000 which now exceeds the trade in value by over double, the auction value by more than double, and even exceeds retail value that a dealership would sell it for.

The vehicle was capable of being inspected because you had it inspected on May 16, 2024 at 1:02 PM at Valvoline Instant Oil Change at 10902 Wurzbach Road, San Antonio, Texas 78230 by an inspector named Antonio Lamario Ripson with the license plates registered and owned by yourself.

I’ve heard a few different versions of what has happened and different stories ma’am. Offering this significant amount when we have THOROUGH documentation and legal binding contracts is a gift. I had to fight the investors to even get to the number, $6,000, that I blurted after you gave the extremely unreasonable amount initially.

Everything is very clearly documented. This offer of purchasing the vehicle for $6,000 will stand until 7:00 PM on Monday 12/15/2024.

The subpoenas that you mention over and over again will willingly be met with enthusiasm as we have thorough documentation of our transaction and performed a contractual agreement in which we, as a business, conducted business with a willing client.

It is unfortunate that lawyers are necessary for these types of situations, because I feel that this wouldn’t have even been glanced at without having to pay an attorney. We conducted a business agreement with an informed client that had buyers remorse two years after purchasing be vehicle and attempted to ask for more than the vehicle was sold for when the upwards of 20,000 miles was driven on the vehicle in the meantime. $6,000 is an unbelievable offer. I can only assume they will spend every penny and dime to counter sue and recoup the unfair invoice amounts paid to an attorney because you had a change of heart after a fair, business transaction.

Consider carefully. Thanks

This is NOT a rent to own dealer, it's rent to repossess

DMV 2nd complaint filed

I bought this car, and paid cash for it, as this dept knows, they never put in to register the car and get me a title.  But it has never ended 2 years later.  This dealership disguises itself as a used car dealer, but they are really a car repossession center, and they try to extort money from people in a failed loan system by taking the poorest, most desperate people and putting them into a binding car deal, loading the cars with GPS and 2 week payments.  When they default on a payment, then they repossess the car and make a lot of money.  They also align with the towing company, and excessive fees back on the car buyer.  In my case, where I paid cash for the car, they hid every single damage on the car, and sold it to me without the warranty after telling me, everything was fine on the car.  It was not.  I had to spend another $6K after purchase and am not done.  I had initially planned on rent to own, but changed my mind and decided to buy it with my last cash that I had.   But they assued me the car was fine, and reset the check engine light so that it would hide the emissions problem.  Their practice is to do this I found out, and the San Antonio police had to bring me there in order to even get my title.  There is GPS on the car, so the dealer knows my every stop, and they knew I was at the mechanics a lot, spending about $6K to keep the car drivable.   I have brought a small claim on them and instead of trying to resolve this case, they tried to extort the car back, and not even "cover" what I had to spend out of pocket.  This is their practice, the salesman Royal even gave me a deadline for this extortion of giving back a car I paid for in full, and leaving me without a vehicle.  They are running a racketeering operation and I don't understand why the DMV allows it, and I certainly am not taking that settlement.  Further, in 2 recorded phone calls to Royal, he tried to twist all of my words, bring up gender and tried to lie about how far I drove the car, 4K miles in 2 years and say it was 20K.  He also tried to tell me I damaged the car myself and I did not.   I wrote this 2nd part of the complaint because they cannot blackmail people or force people to not have a car and they then get a $15K car back and leave someone without a way to live while they then go and resell the more fixed car - again to another unsuspecting buyer, but this is what they do.  A Salvage car was not even on the list of the prices he quoted either from purchase or now 2 years later.  Nowhere in Texas could I get a car from a dealer for anywhere near 6K.   Once I paid $9.500 & $6K in repairs I could never even sell my car for close to that with a salvage title.   This is what they do to their customers, violate them and not even look back.  I tried very hard to settle, and worse, they have continued to defame me, call me names and try to make this my fault, a very bad tactic.
